A Letter From the Director

December 2016

Dear Ministry Partners,

2016 has been a great year!  We have seen growth in all the important areas.  There was a profound sense of growth spiritually this year among the staff. We had a lot of new staff who were previously campers and they were amazing!  We have grown in the kinds of programs that we offer.  We have grown in the number of students who attended our camps or came with their church for retreats.  Our networking in the community has developed with several new partnering relationships.  Most importantly, the number of students whose lives were influenced for eternity has continued to increase.

With all of the growth and increased impact, has come increased cost.  As our scope and influence increases, of course it requires additional finances.  In addition to generally increasing cost of operations because of growth, we are planning to make some capital improvements as well.  We are planning a large zip line in the woods to complement our high ropes course and are hoping to be able to build it this winter.

Because the opportunity to change students’ lives is so great, I want to ask you to join us in our year-end campaign.  Our goal is to raise $20,000 before the end of the year.  That goal is very attainable because from now until December 31, every dollar donated will be doubled with a matching grant from one of our ministry partners, up to $10,000.  There are many organizations that are asking for financial assistance at this time of the year, but I want to ask you to prayerfully consider making a donation to Pathfinders, because until the end of the year your gift and it’s impact on the next generation are doubled.

Thank you so much for your continued generosity and support of students!
