Time Magazine recently publish an article “What 10 Things Should You Do Every Day To Improve Your Life?”. Not surprisingly the first thing is to “Get out in nature”. Not only is it important but there is research that says you must get outdoors. It reduces stress, makes your more creative, improves your memory and makes you a better person. Nature Rocks and on our Property at Pathfinders Youth Camp we have all kind of habitats, streams, trees, bugs, rocks and native flowers for you to explore. At Pathfinders most of our activities happen outdoors in Nature. Our goal is to empower the next generation and since our Camp is a Certified Wildlife Habitat it is the perfect safe environment for kids to develop the 21st Century Skills they need to succeed in life. Camp is the best place to explore and learn so this Summer send your kid to camp and let them experience the Wonder of Nature.
I believe Luther Burbank sums it up best in the following quote:
“Every child should have mud pies, grasshoppers, water bugs, tadpoles, frogs, mud turtles, elderberries, wild strawberries, acorns, chestnuts, trees to climb, brooks to wade in, waterlilies, woodchucks, bats, bees, butterflies, various animals to pet, hayfields, pinecones, rocks to roll, sand, snakes, huckleberries and hornets; and any child who has been deprived of these has been deprived of the best part of his education.”
