Pathfinders hosts week-long camps during the summer from all over the southeast and beyond.

At camp, students will have the time of their lives developing meaningful friendships, experiencing exciting challenges, being a little goofy, and establishing the foundations of their lives on the principles of the Word of God.

Summer camp provides students with an opportunity to get away from the familiar so they can look at themselves, God and their relationships and evaluate what they want  their lives to be.  At camp, truth comes alive, life-shaping relationships are formed with counselors and friends, barriers are broken, and destructive patterns are challenged.

Pathfinders has summer camps that follow four specific tracks:

• Exploring Purpose
  
• Discovering Essential Truth
  
• Experiencing Community
  
• Growing in Leadership
  

Exploring Purpose will take students on an expedition to understand who God has created them to be.  Students will be challenged to understand that the God of the universe has known them from before the beginning of time and has a specific purpose for their lives.  They will be given tools and encouraged to write a personal mission statement for their lives based on what they see as God's design for them.  This track is designed with the unchurched student in mind and plenty of time will be to understanding God's intimate involvement in their lives.  The plan of salvation will be clearly given in this track.

Discovering Essential Truth will take students on a quest to uncover the foundational principles that cause some to become successful while others merely get by.  By studying Biblical characters and learning universal principles, students will discover how to live a life empowered by God.  The truth of God's love and plan of salvation will be clearly given in this track.

Experincing Community will focus on giving students a deep appreciation for the body of Christ and their place in it.  This track is designed for students who have a faith base.  Throughout this week students will learn the power of working with others, the comfort of having comrades, and the wisdom of multiple perspectives.  By the end of the week they will be enabled to make strong commitments to giving the gifts and talents they have, to strengthen any group or team that they are a part of.

Growing in Leadership is designed for the student who understands their purpose, is endeavoring to live essential truth and wants to grow in their ability to influence others for the purposes of God.

Coming to Summer Camp 2010?

How do I register?  Group or individual registration forms can be downloaded below, you may fill out the electronic form below,  or you can call 423-349-8078 and we will be happy to send them in the mail.

When are payments due?  A $50/person non-refundable deposit is required at the time of registration and the balance is due on May 1st.  If you are registering after May 1st, full payment is required at the time of registration.

What does the fee include?  Your registration covers everything.  You get yourself to camp and we’ll take care of the rest: meals, lodging, 24 hour personalized supervision, speakers, musicians, the use of recreational facilities, equipment and exposure to men and women who are passionately in love with Jesus.  (You will need some spending money for snacks and gifts.)

Is there a family or group discount? The discount for families is as follows: 1st child regular rate, 2nd child $15 off, 3rd child $30 off, etc.  Groups receive $10 per person discount with 10 or more.  Groups are defined as individuals who come as an organization and are accompanied by a group leader who serves as a counselor.
