Battle for the Bluegrass Festival at Pathfinders Youth Camp this April.
The mountains of East Tennessee, South West Virginia and Western North Carolina are the cradle of some of the best bluegrass ever made. These hills and there people have inspired bluegrass tunes for generations. Pathfinders Camp of Kingsport, TN is celebrating this heritage by hosting their second annual Battle for the Bluegrass at the camp.
Come out to their barn loft for a day filled with the sounds of the mountains. The festival takes place on Saturday, April 24, 2010 starts at 2pm. The winner of the ‘Battle for the Bluegrass’ will take home $500. You can e-mail Bentley at bentley@pathfindersonline.com to register your band for the festival.
Food and drinks will be available at the festival as well as corn hole and some barn dancing. Bring the whole family from tiny tots to the grandparents.
